Cookie Policy
This one’s short, because the site barely uses any.
The short version: this website doesn’t set cookies. It has no analytics, no advertising, no social media tracking and no embedded content from other sites, so there’s no cookie banner. The only cookies you might ever see are security cookies from my web host, Cloudflare, and only in some situations.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser, for example to remember a login or to track visits for analytics or advertising. Websites can also store information in your browser in other ways, like “local storage”.
Cookies this site uses
This website doesn’t set any cookies itself, and it doesn’t use local storage or any other browser storage.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To protect websites from attacks and bots, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies in some situations, for example if it needs to check that a visitor is a real person:

These don’t track you across websites or build a profile of you. Cloudflare explains them in its cookie documentation.
What this site doesn’t use
- No analytics or visitor tracking
- No advertising or remarketing
- No Facebook, Google or other tracking pixels
- No embedded videos, maps or social media posts
- No font services: fonts are stored on this site, so your browser doesn’t contact Google Fonts
The contact form
The contact form doesn’t load anything from other sites. When you press “Send message”, your message goes to Formspree, the service that delivers it to my email. Formspree’s practices are covered by its privacy policy, and what I do with your message is in my Privacy Policy.
Why there’s no cookie banner
Cookie banners ask for permission to use cookies that a site doesn’t strictly need, like analytics or advertising cookies. This site doesn’t use any, so there’s nothing to ask your permission for.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block Cloudflare’s security cookies, you may be asked to complete a security check more often.
Changes to this policy
If I ever add analytics or anything else that uses non-essential cookies, I’ll update this page first, and ask for your consent before those cookies are used where the law requires it.
