About

Hi, I’m Jayden. I build websites in Derby.

JT Web Co. is mine, and it’s small on purpose. I have help on bigger jobs, but there’s no account manager, no call center and nobody to pass you along to. You text the number on this site and I’m the one who reads it.

About the business

Why I do it this way.

Most web designers ask you to sign something and hand over a deposit before you’ve seen anything. I think that’s backwards.

So I build yours first. You get the real site, with your hours and your photos and your number on it, and if you like it you pay the price we agreed before I started. If you don’t, you don’t owe me a thing.

Plenty of businesses around here are running on a site somebody set up years ago, or on nothing but a Facebook page. That’s not because the owners don’t care. It’s because the options are an agency that charges more than the job is worth, a build-it-yourself thing that eats your evenings, or a nephew who stopped answering texts in March. I’d like to be the fourth option.

I’m in Derby, and I work with businesses around Derby and Wichita. If something breaks you’re texting a person who lives twenty minutes away, not a support queue in another time zone.

What you can hold me to

Five promises.

These aren’t slogans. It’s how the business actually runs, and it’s written down so you can hold me to it.

  1. Prices agreed before I start

You hear both numbers in the first conversation, and the build price doesn’t move after that.

  2. You own what you pay for

The domain goes in your name. Once the build fee is paid the site is yours, and if you ever leave I hand over the files and the domain.

  3. Nothing held hostage

No lock-in and no minimum term. Stopping the monthly plan doesn’t cost you the site, and nothing gets switched off to make a point.

  4. Phones first

Most of your customers will only ever see your site on a phone, so that’s the version I start with.

  5. Plain answers

If I don’t know something, I’ll tell you I don’t know. If something isn’t worth your money, I’ll say that too.

Get in touch

Let’s talk for ten minutes.

Tell me what you do and who you’re trying to reach. You’ll get both prices before I build anything.

Texting works best. You’ll normally hear back the same day.
